Table groupings

New user here and trying to see if this tool will work for us. I can tell a lot of work has gone into it.

My question is if I’m able to do data grouping on the table widget. For example, I have a list of accounts. Each account is grouped by Asset, Liability, Income, Expense. Can I have the table show the group only once in a tall vertical cell to the left of the rows of the accounts in that group?

No, the table widget does not support grouping rows.

The table widget has built-in sorting and filtering, but you could also apply your own default sort or filter if that helps with your use-case.
