Single Sign On (SSO) workaround?

How do I do X?

Hi there. I see that SSO and SAML is set for a future update, but we need to be able to authenticate a user on our Appsmith app with the user’s SAP credentials. In reality:

  1. The user is authenticated on SAP using IdP-Initiated SSO
  2. The user clicks on a link on the SAP Fiori launchpad that takes them to the Appsmith app
  3. The user’s SAP auth details are sent with the user so that we can filter information on the Appsmith app according to the user

Is there a workaround for this? Thank you in advance for your answer.

Unfortunately, at this juncture, there is no workaround for implementing the flow that you are mentioning.

If you run KeyCloak or another type of service you can run an apache proxypass and using OIDC you can password protect the directories.
