Are these two items required for the self hosted appsmith?
If so what purpose do they serve?
Hi, These are not required for self-hosted. Since our cloud and self-hosted instances share the same codebase these optional fields are there which help us with analytics.
Do you support adding our own analytics to track how tools we create are being used etc?

As for tracking tools, you can use our REST API interface to talk to Google Analytics and report events.
