How to pause Appsmith from connecting to a database?

  • We needed to shut down connections so we could redeploy the database.
  • Connections were maxed so we were shutting down connections that could be put on hold, trying to find the instructions on how to stop the instance on the site.

The solution is to either stop the instance if you are on a self-hosted instance, or change the datasource URL and change it back when required.
