Self hosted update from 1.7.14 to latest (1.9.7) fails with 503/Appsmith server is unavailable

I am also encountering this issue trying to upgrade from Digital Ocean marketplace fresh install to Enterprise Edition.

I followed the steps at Customer Portal | Appsmith and now all I get is a 503…

Hello @thestepafter! Please send us the server logs to help us investigate the issue. You can grab the logs by running docker logs -f appsmith.
Or you could follow the steps from this guide on how to get the logs.
